rE mAnasa - O Mind!
sthiratA nahi - There is no steadiness or tranquillity.
nahi nahi rE - none indeed.

caranam 1

tApatraya sAgara magnAnAM - To those who drown in the ocean of suffering of three kinds,
darpAhankAra vilagnAnAm - to those who are attached to pride and ego,
(there is no steadiness or tranquillity)

caranam 2

vishaya pASa vEshTita cittAnAM - To those whose minds are bound by attachment to objects of sensory pleasure,
viparIta jnAna vimattAnAm - to those who are intoxicated with false knowledge,
(there is no steadiness or tranquillity)

caranam 3

paramahamsa yOga viruddhAnAM - To those who are contrary to the state of divine communion of enlightened souls,
bahu cancalatara sukha siddhAnAm - to those who achieve (only) very fleeting or fickle joys,
(there is no steadiness or tranquillity)

Note :

1. The three kinds of suffering are:
1. AdhyAtmika, sufferings from one's own mind and body
2. Adhibhautika, sufferings from other living creatures
3. Adhidaivika, sufferings arising from unseen forces, gods and nature
4. 'pASa' means a rope or noose, and also used to mean bondage or attachment.
