cintaya - Meditate upon
SrI rAmaM - Sri Rama,
jImUta SyAmam - the one dark-hued as a cloud.

caraNam 1

(Meditate upon Sri Rama)
angIkRta tuMburu saMgItaM - the one who accepts/enjoys the music of Tumburu,
hanumad gavaya gavAksha samEtam - the one in the company of (Vanaras like) Hanuman, Gavaya and Gavaksha.

caraNam 2

(Meditate upon Sri Rama)
navaratna sthApita kOTIraM - the one wearing a crown set with precious stones (nine gems),
nava tuLasIdaLa kalpita hAram - the one wearing a garland made of fresh Tulasi leaves.

caraNam 3

(Meditate upon Sri Rama)
paramahaMsa hRd-gOpura dIpaM - the lamp placed on the tower that is the hearts of enlightened souls,
caraNa daLita muni taruNI SApam - the one who crushed/destroyed the curse on the Rishi’s wife (Ahalya), with his feet.

Note: The contact with the dust of Rama’s feet ended the curse on Ahalya, the wife of Rishi Gauthama, and she regained her earlier form and purity.
